Latest: Exhibition Stadstuin Plutodreef
From the 23th of January till the 25th, my work Loaded Sediment was part of the exhibition (N)ietsigland organised by the students from HKU minor Arts & Ecology. This group exhibition took place at Stadstuin Plutodreef located in Utrecht.
In Loaded Sediment, I explore how military interests relate to nature conservation. By applying soil chromatography to the Kromme Rijn, the preserved impact of military strategy becomes visible. I elaborate on a conflict of interest through archival material, underwater photography and clay.
